I've been using this on my calves after long runs and the foam blend has just enough give without feeling mushy. The ridges hit my IT band in a way my smooth roller never did.

The ridges are firm enough to dig into knots without feeling too harsh. I only wish it were a bit longer to cover my entire back without repositioning.

I've been using this with my foam roller for post-run recovery, and the ridged texture really helps work out deep knots. My only small complaint is the foam blend feels a bit firmer than I expected, but it's still effective for targeting tension.
